The City of El Paso has selected J.A.R. Construction to perform the 2016-646 Wren Avenue Street Reconstruction and Improvements project in the northeast area of El Paso. The main purpose of this project is to provide a more suitable road for heavy traffic that will come out from the future Metro 31 (northeast transfer center). The reconstruction of Wren Avenue will feature the following improvements: installation of water line, extension of sanitary sewer line, roadway reconstruction with concrete paving, new lane configuration, addition of bike lanes on each side of the roadway, reconstruction of sidewalks and parkway areas, installation of irrigation system, landscape to beautify the street and an in paving lighting crosswalk at the Shoppers intersection.
J.A.R. Construction, with more than 50 years of experience in heavy civil construction, is expected to begin on July 5th, 2016 with an expected delivery on January 2017.
