Summary / Objective

The Superintendent/Foreman is responsible for supervising staff on a road construction site, managing on-site construction and overseeing all work, responsible for compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and compliance with project specifications, maintaining an orderly and clean jobsite and overseeing use of heavy equipment. The Superintendent is responsible for ordering materials in a timely manner, and oversight for material use and equipment inspection and safety maintenance. The Superintendent shall have the ability to operate heavy equipment, work independently, ensure deadlines are met and maintain records such as Daily Field Reports, etc. A minimum of five (5) years in highway/road construction is required
