Community en Accion Honors El Paso Business People
Local nonprofit Community en Accion will recognize Joe Rosales and Jose Santos at their first Latino Legacy Awards y Fiesta.
Rosales is the founder of J.A.R. Construction Inc., which is celebrating its 60th anniversary. J.A.R. became the first minority contractor in Texas to perform highway work in 1969 and is recognized today as one of the top contractors in the state. Santos is the founder of Food City. Spanning three generations, the family owned grocer is recognized for its products, customer service and innovation.
